ABOUT WILLIAM DELWICHE
I am a professor in the Wisconsin Lutheran College School of Business, where I teach courses in Economics, Finance and Data Analytics. Additionally, I am the faculty adviser for the student-led Warrior Investment Club stock portfolio.I am student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, returning there after a two-decade long absence to work on my PhD in Economics (begun in Fall 2026).Prior to this return to academia, a gained 20+ years of financial markets experience at Baird, a financial services firm headquartered in Milwaukee, WI but with Financial Advisors in locations all across the United States. At Baird, I was Investment Strategist and Managing Director, as well as a member of the firm\'s Investment Policy Committee and co-manager of the Baird Tactical ETF Portfolios. After leaving Baird, I established Hi Mount Research, where I continue to share perspectives on disciplined approaches to risk management and data-driven insights on recent market developments. Over the years I have been a university guest lecturer, keynote speaker and symposia panelist, and have appeared regularly on various media outlets to help de-mystify the latest market moves.
