With over 18 years of experience in the automotive industry, jumping into vehicle mechanics from leaving school working up to luxury automotive research and development, I am currently a Powertrain Test Bed supervisor at JLR, overseeing corridor operations at Whitley. My role involves managing a wide range of responsibilities, including project planning, staff training, facility maintenance, and troubleshooting escalations. I thrive on taking initiative and ensuring that our team operates smoothly and efficiently.As one of the first to join JLR’s innovative powertrain test department, I’ve played a key role in utilizing cutting-edge AVL 4X4 powertrain test rigs for a variety of complex tasks. After completing extensive training at AVL headquarters in Graz, Austria, I’ve developed deep expertise in powertrain research and development, emissions testing, and real-world driving simulations. I work confidently with customers and engineers to deliver projects on time, managing certification work, product development, and robustness testing to meet strict deadlines.I am passionate about continuous improvement, customer engagement, and technical problem-solving, and I enjoy leading my team to achieve outstanding results in an ever-evolving industry.
