With over 25 years of experience in public service, public transit, and transportation, I am the Manager of Fleet Maintenance at OC Transpo, where I oversee the capital and operating budgets for a complex and diverse fleet of buses, non revenue vehicles, and para transit vehicles. I hold a Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) designation from Northern Lakes College, and I am an Interprovincial Red Seal journeyman with a 310T Truck and Coach certification from Mohawk College.I have a proven track record of delivering customized and cost-effective solutions for equipment and fleet needs, from specification writing and procurement to process improvement and staff training. I have also served as a board member of the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency, representing the motive power sector, and I am passionate about advocating for skilled trades and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in fleet management. My mission is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient public transportation services that enhance the quality of life and mobility of the communities I serve.
