About William Crysel

William is a collaborative, results oriented, transformational leader with a progressive career history in leading teams and organizations through design, development, test, and evaluation of spaceflight hardware and software systems. He has over thirty years of leadership experience in private and public organizations. William has a strong track record of working collaboratively with customers, suppliers, and across organizational functions to develop, implement, and complete programs successfully. He has experience with earned value management on cost plus award fee contracts as well as firm fixed price and time and material contracts. He has acted as a Control Account Manager (CAM) for over 10 years of his career. William’s broad experience in spaceflight hardware and software development programs includes leading teams made up of interdivisional members and suppliers from across the United States and Europe. He has effectively led teams during all phases of the hardware/software development life cycle. Included in these assignments is functional responsibility for Engineering and Program Management. William has direct experience across multiple roles ranging from design engineer through senior program manager. This allows him the unique ability to draw from technician, engineering, and leadership experience as well as senior leader experience to relate to, and engage, all levels of the organization. William is highly skilled and experienced in development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives while leading teams to focus on, and achieve, key operational metrics.
