ABOUT WILLIAM C CROWE

Dr. Crowe is a Board-Certified Healthcare Executive and Advanced Practice Provider who is an experienced Nurse Leader, Academic Nurse Educator, and compassionate provider in both the Emergency Department and Hospitalist settings. With over 40 years of experience in healthcare Dr. Crowe’s experience spans a variety of settings including air medical transport, the Emergency Department, critical care, administration, quality, research, education, and advanced practice. Dr. Crowe is also an experienced EMS clinician providing care both on the ground for a large inner city 911 system and in the air as part of an air medical evacuation crew both domestically and internationally. Dr. Crowe has an undergraduate degree from Georgia State University, a master\'s degree from Southern Adventist University, and a doctorate from the University of South Alabama. In addition to roles in nursing leadership, administration, and advanced practice, Dr. Crowe has also served as a Clinical Instructor at a College of Medicine, and as Coordinator and Assistant Professor of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program which he was instrumental in standing up as a new program.Dr. Crowe’s research interests include topics in quality, patient flow, resident education, and multidisciplinary rounding. He has presented locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
