ABOUT WILLIAM CARTER
I am a graduate of Michigan State University where I majored in Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am a self-starter with strong analytical skills, a determined focus to go above and beyond expectations, have multiple years of developing professional grade dashboards and am comfortable building complex business models in Excel, Tableau, and SQL. I am always looking for my next challenge, am highly motivated, and am passionate about using data to drive strategic decision makings and propel continuous improvements. I always strive to be an example of what it means to be a leader. I prioritize building strong relationships and am always looking for different ways to improve team culture. I believe it is important to recognize teammates who have gone above and beyond in their scope of work. In addition, much of my work/analysis is built from initiatives where I have identified areas of opportunity and partnered with different teammates to improve outcomes. Throughout my professional career, I always allocate time for self-evaluation. I think it is really important to take time and look introspectively at my work, my performance, and evaluate how I compared to the goals I set at the beginning of the year. In my one-on-ones with different management, I am always looking for feedback on developing new skills and areas where I can improve. As a data-minded individual, I am always trying to use any new skills/knowledge to drive efficiencies in my work.
