Linchpin provides independent expertise and advice on investments and governance to pension funds, endowments, and charities. In this capacity, I personally advise three LGPS funds and have served as Independent Chair to the Local Pension Board for two others. Linchpin has recently conducted independent reviews on governance, ESG, investment strategy, and fiduciary management, and is an active commentator in all these areas. One of Linchpin\'s aims is to bring clients together with the service providers best suited to them. To this end we are part of a network of often young organisations who we like to think are at the cutting edge of their chosen niche and able to add real value to clients\' decision-making.Linchpin acts more formally as a consultant to two private sector firms, one providing a set of proven macro-economic data and analysis, the other a Japanese equity boutique.
