ABOUT WILLIAM WRIGHT

I have chaired two Private equity backed companies, been vice chairman of another and run my own consulting company. This after 35 years in a variety of management roles in Schlumberger.I have extensive experience of identifying and introducing technical innovation in oil and gas fields around the world, from the perspective of both the operating and service company. This, allied with a wide knowledge of the very different field types around the world and the companies that operate them, provides me with a wide perspective on the introduction of new technology around the world, where it will sell and where it will generate value.I have led and managed geographically dispersed, multi cultural teams towards a variety of different goals. Facilitating communication and encouraging collaboration.I have devised and managed a world class account management network, on a truly Global basis, not only Pan European, but also including the oil and gas companies emerging from the BRIC economies and the OPEC national oil companies. Shaping an organization to provide salient information, on current and future client activities, to each of the internal business lines working around the world.
