Core Responsibilities:Instruction and Skill Development:Teach fundamental basketball skills (shooting, dribbling, passing, etc.). Develop offensive and defensive strategies appropriate for the age and skill level of the players. Plan and conduct practice sessions that focus on skill development and game preparation. Provide constructive feedback to players on their performance. Team Management and Leadership:Organize and manage the team, including scheduling practices and games. Motivate and inspire players to achieve their full potential. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive character traits. Maintain discipline and ensure players follow rules and guidelines. Safety and Well-being:Ensure the safety of players during practices and games. Monitor players\' physical and mental well-being. Follow established procedures in the event of an athlete\'s injury. Communication and Coordination:Communicate effectively with parents, players, and school administrators. Maintain open communication with the athletic director. Keep parents informed about team schedules, practices, and games. Administrative Tasks:Maintain and secure equipment and uniforms. Ensure all eligibility documents are completed and submitted. Manage inventory and other administrative tasks. Additional Skills and Qualities:Passion for Basketball: A genuine love for the game and a desire to help young athletes succeed.
