Municipal Affairs Liaison is part of the policy and government affairs team working to ensure that local governments do not exceed their powers or intrude on Arizonans’ constitutional rights. The Liaison monitors the actions of major municipalities and the status of key issues across the state of Arizona; identify and filter issues of concern for possible action by our litigation and policy teams; and attend city council meetings, county meetings, school board meetings, and other public events. Occasionally prepares and files public records requests and engages in public speaking (including providing testimony at public meetings).
