ABOUT WILLIAM BARRIE
I am a Partner in the PwC Financial Services Deals team and have been with PwC since 2008, spending 5 years in the Assurance business prior to specialising in Transaction Services from March 2014. I have worked with a range of clients, providing services across our financial due diligence offerings including buy and sell side due diligence and with both private equity/ leveraged deals and corporate deals. During my time in Assurance, I managed audits of various sizes and complexity, ranging from owner managed businesses to global FTSE 100 clients. I am the UK Deals Asset and Wealth Management leader and support clients across the Financial Services sector - I am always keen to meet interesting and high growth businesses operating across the various FS subsectors. In recent years I have advised on deals in the financial services, technology, oil and gas, industrial products and retail and consumer sectors and have spent time working on international assignments in the US, Spain and Sweden. Outside of work I enjoy travelling and experiencing new cultures and have a keen interest in both football and golf.
