About William Bantz

William Bantz is a Tax Partner in the International Tax Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Milwaukee office. Bill has over 15 years of experience with inbound, multinational and domestic corporations in co-developing and implementing various tax planning strategies and performing tax analyses on complex transactions and other technical tax issues. He is well versed in the tax accounting area including: FAS 109 application, tax 404 implementations and remediation\'s, redesign of tax provision processes, FIN 48 implementations and tax provision preparations. Bill is also well versed in the international tax area and has provided a wide range of services to multinational clients, including tax-efficient financing, structuring of foreign investments in the United States, application of tax treaty provisions, post-deal integration planning, foreign tax credit planning, Subpart F issues, and structuring of overseas investments. Specifically, Bill has assisted clients with the following:• Preparation and review of global tax provisions for US multinational companies, including computations and consultations regarding international tax accounting matters such as APB23/indefinite reinvestment assertions and financial statement implications of international transactions. • U.S. Federal and international tax aspects of acquisitions, including the integration of target’s structure into the acquiring company’s structure.• International tax aspects related to cross border restructuring, repatriation planning, local country tax planning, and divestitures.• International tax consulting services related to helping clients achieve their operational business objectives in a tax efficient manner. • U.S. Federal and international tax aspects of US Federal income tax compliance, including consultations on subpart F income and foreign tax credit utilization and review of Forms 5471, 5472, and Tax reform calculations including GILTI, FDII, BEAT and 163(j)
