Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist for Army G-4, responsible for directing and coordinating on a worldwide basis, the development, implementation and execution of policies, regulations, methods, and procedures relating to Department of the Army logistics subsistence operation for total force readiness. Ensures policy changes and recommendations support G4, Army and DoD goals, objectives, and priorities. Ensures the development and execution of subsistence management procedures and technical processes, including food service automation, support established policy, and revolutionizing the Army food service program. Provide strategic leadership in planning, allocation of resources, and development of long-range goals, objectives, plans supporting the strategic goals, and milestones set by the G4. Supervises a and manages matrix operations across the headquarters to include DoD activities. Provide analysis of the program and identifies gaps, provides courses of action to correct deficiencies, and implements corrective actions. Convert research and analysis into strategic initiatives and explores alternatives and concepts for development while highlighting complex and/or unprecedented issues that directly support the Army’s ability to perform its missions.
