As an Assistant Program Coordinator and Head of Recruitment within the Penn State EcoReps-I developed a recruitment plan for incoming first-year students, centered on as much face-to-face contact as possible. to do this I utilized first-year seminar classes, on the spot interviews, flyers, social media, and general EcoRep events to recruit- I reviewed 73 applications into EcoReps and hired 21 students to join the 2023 cohort- I am in charge of a class at Penn State that educates newly accepted students into the EcoReps program on training to be an EcoRep-I operated individually and in partnership with team members to originate and implement projects to decrease trash, water, and energy waste within the freshman residence halls on Penn State\'s campus-I designed programs to involve students and teach them about sustainable methods in Penn State dormitories with over 2328 total positive interactions with students-I fostered team development through scheduled brainstorming and teambuilding activities during meetings-I spearheaded a 6-week blitz program to encourage new freshman to learn and adopt new recycling habits
