About Willem Debray

I work at Teal helping companies solve a problem most people don’t think about until it breaks: connectivity. Whether it’s EV chargers, robotics, or smart infrastructure, I get to work with teams that need their devices online all the time, everywhere. Our eSIM platform makes that possible without the usual complexity, which is a fun challenge to be a part of. I didn\'t expect to land a career in tech. I started firefighting, where I learned to stay calm under pressure, trust my team, and show up when it matters most. I later studied psychology at the University of Washington because I’ve always been curious about people, how they think, and what drives them. That curiosity has followed me into my work. I enjoy connecting with people, understanding their challenges, and genuinely figuring out how to help. In my previous role I had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of tech companies that were supporting their niche in society. Seeing the impact of these companies firsthand grew my interest in the technologies shaping our world today. These same technologies impacting our world depend on mission-critical connectivity. At Teal, I’m dedicated to supporting our customers with always-on connectivity, ensuring their devices stay connected no matter where they are throughout the world. I’m always open to connecting and seeing what teams are building for the next generation!
