   The product director role at Oakley is true 360 degree product management from concept to consumer, balancing vision, strategy, and execution.Responsible for delivering yearly New Product Introduction line plan including purpose, story, product specs, target consumer, expected volumes, and distribution channels. Manage each product through development from design, model shop, CAD, engineering, and manufacturing, ironing out all details along the way. Team up with R&D and APD teams on new technologies and industrializing them into new products. Responsible to deliver on all product margin targets and ASP\'s.Manage Go To Market initiatives for new product and technologies including sales sample delivery, product training documents, rep and regional sales manager training, product content development, instructional videos, and trade marketing collateral. Work with regional sales managers on key account assortment planning and rep training. Manage lifecycle of entire product line including discontinuation strategy and EOL delivery to key partners. Work with inventory management on initiatives to sell EOL product or scrap slow moving inventory.
