About Will Scott

I’ve spent the last 15 years inside the game of baseball, from playing professionally, to scouting at the highest level, to working with organizations and academies to build player development systems and support the growth of their programs. That experience has given me a clear view into how players are actually evaluated, developed, and advanced across levels.I’ve evaluated players for organizations like the San Diego Padres, worked within professional player development environments, and helped build amateur programs focused on long-term athlete development and progression.Today, as a Manager of Baseball Ops at TOCA/DBAT, I lead player development environments, oversee programming, and drive revenue to scale the overall business of baseball, while continuing to work directly with athletes, families, and teams navigating an increasingly complex baseball landscape.I also work with organizations, academies, and programs to provide structure around evaluation, development planning, and long-term player and business strategy.I’m the founder of Nstructs, a platform built to help athletes and families better understand how the game works, and how to move through it with more clarity and direction. My background also includes a Master of Legal Studies in Sports and Business Law, which adds perspective on contracts, negotiations, and the broader business side of athlete careers.I believe players are best positioned when they understand how development, evaluation, and opportunity fit together over time. Let\'s connect and let\'s see what we could be build together.
