Working on an open source React Native debugging dev tool through OSLabs, a tech accelerator- Audited an unfamiliar codebase of a popular React debugging Chrome extension to rapidly scope and build an MVP of its core features in a new environment- Traversed and serialized the Fiber tree used in React’s reconciliation algorithm to capture component state snapshots to provide React Native developers easy time-travel debugging- Streamed ordered snapshots over WebSockets and stored them in a normalized Redux slice for quick retrieval and diffing; set-up a return pipeline to allow the RN app to revert to past states- Built a user-friendly GUI to informatively display the state snapshot nodes, as well as providing easy navigation between different nodes in the state timeline
