I am a Twin Cities-based legal and communications professional. I specialize in distilling complex concepts into clear, engaging messages that are elegantly tailored for their unique audiences.In my present role as Senior Media Relations and Communications Manager at Ballard Spahr, I find, create and distribute stories that highlight the work of the 750 attorneys we have in 19 offices across the U.S.As Editor, Owned Channels for Thomson Reuters, I identified and crafted the messages to richly illustrate how the company is using human expertise, technical savvy and a results-oriented approach to better serve its clients. Previously at Thomson Reuters, I worked as senior marketer, where I was responsible for brand management on social media, content creation for a portfolio of print and digital platforms and the support and strengthening of business-critical themes.Before re-joining Thomson Reuters, I was the proposal coordinator for the litigation department of Fish & Richardson, a 375-attorney intellectual property law firm that consistently ranks as the world\'s best. In this role, I worked with attorneys to deliver strategic, impactful information and narrative that distinguished the firm and secured new business.I am a licensed attorney. I earned my BA magna cum laude in journalism from Marquette University and my J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
