At DTNA I lead a high-performing legal team focused on execution of our global intellectual property strategy, including strategic IP protection, acquisition, enforcement and management of design and utility patents, trademarks, copyrights and other data rights. Our team negotiates strategic research and development partnership agreements and hardware and software product development partnership agreements in autonomous technologies, connected services and zero-emission technologies, along with many other technology innovations being developed for next-generation transportation. We lead data and AI governance initiatives and frameworks, manage data privacy for the organization and associated regulatory compliance issues as well as develop associated terms & conditions. Our team also supports global M&A transactions, joint ventures and oversees corporate entity management and corporate governance across the organization.
