ABOUT WILL WESTERBECK
I am currently a Senior at Miami University Farmer School of Business studying Supply Chain and Management. Throughout my time at Miami I have been able to grow and learn about my strengths, weaknesses, and how I can become a well rounded student. While having time to collaborate with other students and learn in the classroom I have been able to better my communication skills as well as my overall business understanding.This past summer I was lucky enough to intern at 80 Acres Farms as a supply chain and procurement intern. I was able to research packaging and reach out to other companies on pricing, specifications, and so much more. It was a great experience where I communicated with suppliers, worked on multiple projects, and saw what it would be like on a day to day basis. It gave me real world experience that I can now use to further my understanding of what supply chain entails. Along with 80 Acres, CJ\'s bar has been a great experience and has helped me grow out of my shell. My experiences to this point have allowed me to improve on various different skills that I can apply to all parts of my life.I anticipate to search for more opportunities for the upcoming summer of 2023 to continue to learn and grow in this profession.
