As part of my Graduate scheme, I have completed stints in Design, Manufacturing and Analysis where I have- Developed a deeper understanding of the equations and factors that limit/define electromagnetic perfomance- Utilised 3DX to contribute to the design of the latest offering of the core technology platform- Supported those designs through to manufacture- Designed tooling with an emphasis on production time and ease of use on the line- Run Abaqus FEA analysis to support in-house inverter design. The remainder of the scheme will see time spent with Development in the test cells and ensuring customer requirements are achieved. There will also be shorter stints across departments such as Purchasing, Quality and Project Management.
