Responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of Facilities, Custodial Services, Human Resources, Security, Technology, and Visitor Experience at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM), ensuring the effective functioning of the institution’s operations and visitor-facing services.CMOM, founded in 1973, serves nearly visitors annually at its Upper West Side location and engages hundreds of thousands more through outreach programs in partnership with schools, libraries, shelters, and Head Start centers throughout New York City, as well as through touring exhibitions and digital learning tools.In this role, I support the museum’s mission of fostering creativity, curiosity, and empathy in children and families by strengthening operational systems, supporting staff and frontline teams, and ensuring that every visitor experience reflects the museum’s commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and community engagement.The role focuses on strengthening operational performance, team culture, and visitor experience across the museum’s daily operations.The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer.
