ABOUT WILL STANCO
I am a Consultant within NEPC’s Defined Contribution practice, based in San Francisco. I partner with plan sponsors to evaluate and design defined contribution investment programs, supporting clients across performance analysis, investment structure reviews, manager searches, fee benchmarking, and evolving plan trends.In addition to client advisory work, I serve as Chair of NEPC’s DC Multi‑Asset Solutions Committee. In this role, I lead the firm’s research on target date funds, managed accounts, retirement income, and the inclusion of private markets within defined contribution plans. My work helps inform NEPC’s investment evaluations and client‑facing guidance for plan sponsors across a wide range of sizes, structures, and governance models.I collaborate closely with both consulting and research teams to translate analytical insights into practical, fiduciary‑focused recommendations. Prior to joining NEPC, I worked at Aon supporting institutional clients across defined benefit, defined contribution, insurance, and endowment and foundation portfolios.
