This is done through working alongside management to provide advice and support in developing strategies, implementing financial or structural change, identifying cost efficiencies, unlocking cash tied up in working capital and managing defined benefit pension scheme liabilities. I work with lenders and other stakeholders to independently review the operational and financial performance of businesses, undertake contingency planning and identify potential options. To maximise stakeholder value, I undertake insolvency work where it is necessary and with the key intention of helping protect a business, its employees, customers, suppliers, lenders and other creditors.
