ABOUT WILL RICCARDI
I employ archival research methods in the areas of auditing and financial reporting. My current research explores the influence of auditors\' and audit firms\' various political activities on audit outcomes and regulatory enforcement. My prior research explored international auditing issues (e.g. global audit firm networks; auditors\' role in IFRS implementation). At U. Albany, I teach courses in Intermediate Financial Accounting at both the Undergraduate and Graduate levels, as well as Seminars in Accounting Research at the Graduate level. I am currently developing coursework employing data analytics to reinforce core financial accounting and auditing concepts and topics.
