My expertise includes project management, coastal processes analysis, historical shoreline and volume change analysis, statistical storm return period analysis, storm damage modeling, topographic and hydrographic surveying of beaches, hydrodynamic surveying of tides and currents, numerical modeling of ocean wave propagation and associated littoral transport, geotechnical analysis of offshore and upland sand for the development of beach nourishment borrow areas, beach nourishment design, coastal structure design, Dredge Material Management Area design, State and Federal (NEPA) permitting, preparation of construction plans and specifications, construction and contract management/oversight, post-construction performance monitoring, and post-storm assessment and damage quantification.
