As the Spatial Data Manager for the Northern Hemisphere at GHD, Will is responsible for- Data curation, custodianship and manager of large amounts of spatial data within the GHD ecosystem- Data management in support of guidelines that align with corporate strategy- Ensuring the working order of external and internal data sources for teams on a daily basis- Creation and management of a large data catalog for teams to use within GeoBIM, AutoCAD, ESRI, QGIS and other platforms- Creation and management of ESRI Enterprise Sites for geospatial data management- Work closely with our Tech Applications team to ensure proper implementation of ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 including testing, feedback, data migration, etc- Create useful, utility-driven applications for teams to use on a daily basis on a larger scale- Provide guidance on metadata structures, formulate guidance documents on data curation, management, ownership and custodianship- Affect culture change in alignment with our Delivery Transformation initiatives and Digital Solutions initiatives.

ABOUT WILL PRIDHAM

Will has a GIS and natural heritage background, with 20 years\' experience as a GIS Specialist in various ecological and GIS projects including analysis, cartography, web mapping systems, Species-at-Risk (SAR) mapping, Ecological Land Classification (ELC) mapping, Natural Heritage Systems, aquatics mapping, and legislation. He has worked on hundreds of projects ranging from small variances and severances to large-scale residential developments and renewable energy projects such as hydroelectric, wind and solar. He has also completed pro bono work for the Ontario Turtle Trauma Centre (OTCC), His work has appeared in ESRI’s 25th Anniversary Map Calendar and has credited contributions to the Royal Ontario Museum’s (ROM) Field Guide to Freshwater Fishes of Ontario and technical documents such as the MNRF Recovery Strategy for the Pale-bellied Frost Lichen in Ontario.Other roles as required include bat acoustic analysis using Kaleidoscope Pro software and Anabat. Will has provided acoustic analysis for myotis species as well as other North American bat species for the last 7 years. In addition, he has created field protocols and provided detailed reporting for specific bat projects that satisfy Ontario protocols.In addition to project work, Will\'s current focus is on delivering a spatial data management framework along with data stewardship for the Northern Hemisphere of GHD while working closely with the Southern Hemisphere for congruency.
