Warrant Officer, Quarter Master Sergeant Instructor serving in the British Army for 25 years, My current appointment in The Royal Army Physical Training Corps (RAPTC) Instructor with the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards and the subject matter expert and principle adviser to the battalion’s Chain of Command on all Physical Development (PD) issues, ie physical and adventurous training, sport and health. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: the delivery and maintenance of unit physical fitness; the promotion, co-ordination and organisation of adventurous and recreational training activities; the management and maintenance of unit physical and recreational training facilities, equipment and estate; and the career management and personal development of subordinate physical training staff.
