I practice planning and environmental law and also counsel clients on environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters with a particular focus on the real estate and infrastructure sectors.I have advised on many complex development projects covering a range of sectors including build-to-rent, student accommodation, and logistics. I have extensive experience providing transactional support and conducting planning and environmental due diligence on real estate, finance, and M&A transactions.I have drafted and negotiated planning and highway agreements and advised on enforcement matters. I also have experience in pursuing and defending judicial review claims and acting on behalf of clients at planning appeals and public inquiries.I have advised UK and international clients on a wide range of legal issues, including REACH (registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemical substances), F-gas regulations, PFAS, product liability issues, carbon reduction plans, and ESOS (energy savings opportunity schemes).In addition, I have recent experience advising clients on ESG matters in the real estate and infrastructure sectors.In 2021, I provided pro bono legal advice on a large scale rewilding project in England.
