Experienced Operations Director with demonstrable track record of bringing renewable energy products from prototypes through to serial production for renewable energy tech start-ups.I have taken innovative green technology from prototype stage through R+D and expansion to serial manufacturing for National and International markets. I have worked within the built environment sector in both renewable energy generation and storage, as well as HVAC and energy efficiency.My previous roles have required a flexible approach during growth phases, involving working independently and managing elements of design for manufacture, certification, procurement, H+S, factory design and QC to ISO standards. I have established and managed teams of production staff and am comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.I have also been significantly involved in business development activities, along with the project management of grant funded trial installations through the DECC, LECF + the EU’s H2020.
