With over a decade dedicated to Cyber, primarily within the fast-paced Financial Services sector, I\'m a Senior Manager at Deloitte who truly enjoys helping organisations strengthen their cyber defences. My journey started in-house, spending four years as a Cyber Security Consultant with global investment firms like Abrdn and Standard Life, before bringing my experience to Deloitte six years ago.What really drives me is leading and delivering large-scale cyber transformation programmes for global financial institutions. I love diving into complex challenges, whether it\'s building a compelling CISO investment case for a major bank or overseeing a complete cyber security overhaul for a FTSE 100 asset manager. My goal is always to make a tangible difference and ensure these critical projects succeed.I\'ve also had some fantastic opportunities to work extensively in the insurance and banking sectors. For example, I led the charge on a five-year business case for customer identity tooling for a large insurance broker, which successfully secured the investment needed. I also had the privilege of leading a project for a global insurance underwriter, guiding a team to deliver a clear NIST assessment and a practical two-year roadmap. Plus, I\'ve helped a FTSE 100 insurance firm refine their IT and IS policies and controls, aligning them with best practices.My academic background, including an Information Security Masters with Distinction from Royal Holloway, London, as well as a BA from Edinburgh in Geography. But beyond the technical skills, I\'m genuinely passionate about fostering a collaborative environment, empowering my teams, and mentoring upcoming employees, For me, it\'s about working together to deliver impactful work.
