I\'m the co-founder and Chairman of Brighton Energy Coop, a solar co-operative with £5 million of community-owned solar assets on 100+ rootops. We rent roof space to put up solar panels; we then sell the cheaper, greener electricity to our host sites. Along the way I have learned a lot about solar PV in and renewable energy systems in general. Building BEC to the size it is required skills in business development, community organizing, crowdfunding, board administration and business strategy.
