This is an unpaid position that I perform in honor of the hypocritical oath I took when graduating medical school back in 2001. For 10 months out of the year I serve as a full time clinical professor of medicine to 4th year medical students from Marian University School of Medicine. I typically have 2-4 medical student each month. I find that this experience keeps me on my toes and I believe that I end up learning as much as the students. My number one message to the students is to not lose their humanity in the course of becoming a Physician.
