About Will Barber

My career in the hospitality industry all began with the airline industry. My grandfather worked for Piedmont Airlines for 44 years. You don’t see that anymore, right? My father soon too worked for Piedmont and I traveled the world in the airline industry as a child. Remember when you used to get dressed up to travel? My favorite part was staying in wonderful hotels!Shortly after US Airways purchased Piedmont Airlines in 1989, my family moved from North Carolina to Louisville, Kentucky. World-port (UPS Air Hub) is based in Louisville and my father took a position with the \"Big Brown Machine.\" After education in Louisville, The University of Kentucky called. Go Cats!A \"temporary\" summer job at the front desk was my first position and started my hospitality career. How many people can honestly say they knew hotel management was a career choice in high school? Exactly.I have worn many hats in my career so far and enjoy working with people on a successful event. My favorite part is introducing them to the city of Louisville. How may I help you?
