ABOUT MICHAEL WIJAYA

My peers know me as a creative person as I want everything to become more effective and efficient. I am also known as being a perfectionist as I want to maximize the outcomes or the of every single task given to me. As a graduate student from Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, I am very passionate about using Biotechnology to solve various global threats such as food sustainability, environmental problems, or health issues. I have over three years of working experience in research industries contributing to scientific discoveries in the fields of molecular biology, agriculture, and bioinformatics. Moreover, I also have a few internship experiences which proven my adaptability to work with various teams, nationally and internationally. As a researcher, I am an expert in multi-tasking, analyzing problems, and implementing solutions. I have excellent organizational and communication skills, and also strong analytical and critical thinking skills with over seven years of experience in supervisory roles in different organizations, committees, and events. I came to Canada in August 2019 and completed Global Business Management Studies at Humber College in April 2021 with Honours. Upon the completion of this Post-graduate certificate, I learned that there are a wide variety of regulations and standards in this global market and therefore we need to be able to customize our offerings and fastly adapt to various changes in the global environment. I believe that I could combine my science background with management skills and business insights to become a specialist in implementing extensive research, proposing innovative ideas, as well as improving strategic planning execution in diverse businesses to help in achieving various stakeholders\' objectives.
