About Wolfgang Hombrecher
Wolfgang Hombrecher most recently served as Vice President of Finance at Leach International Corporation (formerly Esterline Power Systems). During his tenure, he successfully helped guide the financial integration of the organization subsequent to its acquisition by the TransDigm Group (NYSE:TDG) in March 2019.Beginning in December 2015, Mr Hombrecher served as the Vice President Finance for the Esterline Engineered Materials Platform/Division. The Platform, through its five business units located in the US, UK and Mexico, offered a range of advanced materials, components, and surface-treatment processes engineered specifically for extremes in temperature, vibration, and chemical exposure.Prior to his role at Esterline he served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Zodiac Aerospace OEM Cabin and Interiors Division. In this capacity, he was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of the division’s financial performance to its publicly traded French parent company. With revenues in excess of $0.5 billion USD and operations covering 4 countries and 9 operating facilities the Division enjoyed a leadership role in the engineering, design and manufacturing of cabin interiors for all major OEM aircraft manufacturers. Before entering the Aerospace & Defense sector with Zodiac Aerospace, Mr. Hombrecher held CFO positions at Paragon Global Resources and Calavo Growers as well as assisting Fresh Del Monte Produce in the capacity of a business consultant in establishing and growing its business operations in Mexico. A CPA by trade, Mr. Hombrecher began his career with Deloitte in Orange County, California and has had the pleasure of serving both large and middle market growth companies in the manufacturing and service industries.Mr. Hombrecher currently resides in Orange County with his wife and four children. Although he has lived in Southern California for over 25 years, he has extensive overseas business travel experience particularly in Mexico and Europe. He is business fluent in 3 languages and enjoys following current events, politics and sports. A graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Mr. Hombrecher received a double major in both Business/Economics and Political Science.
