My areas of specialty include risk mitigation, financial analysis, contract negotiation, lean manufacturing, and compliance.Initially, I pursued a career in engineering. My desire for the business aspects of my job led me to supply chain management — which blends business with engineering. Working with people, providing a service, and solving complex problems to exceed expectations were also attractive.As a transportation logistics leader, I’m known for collaborating with vendors, key stakeholders and suppliers to optimize response time and delivery performance. To negotiate the best pricing, I regularly research market trends while lowering costs to meet supply requirements and business objectives. Much like my mother, resilience and passion for nontraditional challenges drive me to do better. In everything, I seize opportunities to set an example for young women of color.
