About Whit Minson

Ever since I was little I wanted to connect to people through my creativity. I would stand up in front of my elementary classes and read out epic stories I had written, many including my classmates. In high school I moved on to art and painted murals all around the building. In college I went into printmaking and graphic design. And NOW I love the endless possibilities of constructing great user experience in Software Engineering! It\'s like this huge puzzle that has a huge reach across the world! I am passionate about combining all my creative skills in graphic design, fine arts, and software engineering to make applications accessible, beautiful, and functional!I\'ve completed a some full-stack projects, both solo and in collaboration with other SWEs. Most of my work has been written in Javascript, especially on the frontend utilizing Object Oriented Programming and React/Redux. But, I absolutely love using Python and pairing it with Flask, SQLAlchemy, and connecting to Heroku. I hope to continue to exploring the potential of using Python and learn more languages too!My professional artist work is in relief printmaking and my work has been selected for juried shows in Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee.My graphic design career notably included working with MTSU\'s History Department and Old Stone Fort Archeological Park for their museum graphic design.
