Ensure that all financial aspects of the Atlanta Beltline, Inc.(ABI) are operating in compliance with established rules and regulations. Additional responsibilities include:1. Directing all internal and external financial reporting and analysis requirements, ensure submitted reports are accurate, and establish that the format is both efficient and effective (e.g. Board Reports, Budget Presentations, Annual Report data points). Serve as the primary financial reporting guidance to all departments, utilizing a client service perspective.2. Directly working with the CFO to regularly update the financial aspects of ABI’s strategic implementation plan.3. Directly supervising and providing guidance, coaching and mentorship to supporting staff.4. Teaming directly with the CFO on identifying key processes, controls, and accesses. Establish tracking mechanisms, communicate policies, and execute special research projects.5. Collaborate with the ABI Grants Officer and ABP personnel to document grant restrictions and reporting requirements while proactively establishing compliance policies. Monitor that loan covenants are met timely and remain in compliance7. Collaborate with the Procurement and Legal teams to remain aware of upcoming Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) utilization, and further serve as the financial utilization statistical reporting source.8. Support the CFO and General Counsel in their serving as ABI’s insurance program oversight and Certificate of Insurance tracking.9. Tax Levy Cash Flow Review – collaborate with Invest Atlanta and the City of Atlanta to ensure that collected tax levies are further routed in accordance with governing agreements and are documented annually for audit support.10. Serve as the internal control that ensures proper vendor and customer profile setup. Provide timely responses to inquiries and ad hoc reporting requests from the CFO or other departments internally and externally.
