About Whitney Cox

Whitney Cox is the Founder and Board President of Dreamland Academy, a nonprofit preschool designed to serve medically complex children and their families. She is also a full-time venture banking professional at Silicon Valley Bank, where she supports early-stage startups and healthcare innovators across the innovation economy. Whitney was inspired to launch Dreamland based on her personal experience as the parent of a child with cerebral palsy and the barriers she faced navigating childcare and educational systems. Dreamland Academy was born out of a deep need — and a bold vision — to create an inclusive, medically supportive learning environment where every child can thrive. With a background in finance, nonprofit governance, and parent advocacy, Whitney brings both strategic insight and lived experience to her work. She is deeply committed to expanding access to early education for families often overlooked by traditional care models.
