About George White
I am the Assistant Vice President for the Lehigh Valley office of Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc.(HRG). I am working in the firm’s civil group to assist municipal clients with stormwater management, water quality concerns, flooding, and public projects. I also provide oversight on HRG land development projects in the region.I began my career as an environmental consultant in New Jersey before moving my family to Pennsylvania. Throughout my career, I have worked on diverse projects ranging from developing wetland mitigation plans to designing and permitting natural gas pipelines and compressor stations. I have provided expert testimony for clients in court and numerous planning commission hearings. I also served as an environmental consultant to the Greenwich Township, Roseland Borough, and Montville Township planning boards in New Jersey. Throughout my career, I have maintained a “self-employed” mentality, which has helped me grow professionally and adapt to meet my clients’ needs.I am comfortable both in the field and in the board room. I can break down complex environmental and development issues so that they are understood by clients, colleagues and project reviewers. I have been providing “real-world,” sensible solutions to problems which meet regulatory statutes and are reasonable for my clients for the past thirty-four years. I enjoy mentoring younger colleagues and helping them to grow in our profession.
