From August 2017 to February 2020, he was the Partner and Head of Strategy and Operations at RoyCon Technologies in Austin, TX, a Salesforce.com Partner that focuses on implementation and integration solutions to help companies increase efficiency and drive value by analyzing data for business insights. Mr. Whaley recognized key areas to streamline the business and increase customer lifetime value (CLV). He also developed client implementation processes, reducing development costs and increasing client transparency. Mr. Whaley created the hiring protocol which helped grow the team from a single developer to a team of over a dozen full-time employees and independent contractors. At the end of Mr. Whaley\'s tenure with RoyCon, the company had grown its revenue tenfold while achieving profit margin expansion. Prior to his work in the Salesforce ecosystem, he was the Acquisition & Innovation Consultant at StrategyWise, a global provider of data analytics and business intelligence solutions to help companies and governmental entities create value by capturing, analyzing, and applying data insights to drive policy formation and business improvements. At StrategyWise, he advised leadership on strategy, innovation, and M&A negotiations. He oversaw the acquisition of Yellowhammer News, a popular Alabama news organization, where he created processes for rapid quoting and financial reporting; developed an innovation lab launching its first SaaS product within 2 months, and lead the development for Beta testing improving user experience and functionality. He also identified key areas to cut expenses and save on overhead.
