About Me I’m Wezzie, a multidisciplinary creative at the intersection of technology, design, and beauty. My career began as a full-stack developer, working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React. But over time, I grew frustrated with the lack of user-centred thinking in many development processes. Leveraging my background in freelance design, I began applying design thinking to development, which naturally led to my transition into UX and UI design. 🧑‍ A Hybrid of Design + Code Currently, I work as a UX/UI Analyst, bridging the gap between designers and developers, translating creative design into technical language, and ensuring a seamless handoff for implementation. This hybrid role allows me to use both my technical and creative strengths every day. ‍ Science Meets Skin Beyond tech, I’m also a qualified Skin Aesthetician and Cosmetic Chemist. With a strong foundation in chemistry and biology, I create content and write about skincare and beauty, focusing on education and science-backed insights, addressing misinformation in the beauty space. At the heart of my work is a commitment to understanding and serving the needs of the user, whether through intuitive digital experiences or personalised skincare solutions.
