As the Director of Acquisitions and Development for StorageMart, the world’s largest privately-owned self storage company, Weyen Burnam is directly involved in developing and maintaining a portfolio of over 215 properties across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. As one of the fastest growing self storage companies, Weyen’s most pressing responsibility is the development, acquisition, and takeover of new facilities. In the last two years alone, he has overseen growth to the tune of underwriting $2.5 billion in new asset value, with closings topping $350 million. Since joining the team in near the inception of the company, Weyen has helped StorageMart consistently brand a multitude of properties under the company motto: Easy, Clean, Service. From managing budgets to design and implementation, Weyen has developed a branded experience that customers can find consistent in our stores whether they rent in Austin, TX or Okotos, AB.
