ABOUT CATHERINE BROWN
Experienced science communicator and knowledge mobilizer. Extensive work experience in communicating best management/restoration practices for wetland and boreal forest ecosystems. I work for Ducks Unlimited Canada\'s Institute for Wetland and Waterfowl Research, leading knowledge mobilization activities. In my spare time, I co-founded the nonprofit group Boreal Nature Network to launch citizen science projects in northern communities and break down barriers between academics, the public, and data collection. I truly shine when I get to share my enthusiasm for science!
