ABOUT WES WOODLAND

Wes is an award-winning content creator and Avid media composer story editor (Premiere Pro too). He also feels very blessed to continue remote editing for Paramount Pictures (Dr. Phil and The Doctors), HGTV (Rock The Block) and CBS (Entertainment Tonight). Wes is a proven content creator credited with over two thousand hours of network tv, cable and film, three Emmy® nominations, one Primetime win, a Golden Marble Award and several other accolades. Wes grew up on a small farm in the Sierra Foothills between Auburn and Grass Valley, California and worked on his family cutting horse ranch called Birdseye Land and Cattle Corporation in Chico. He attended public schools and graduated from Placer High School near the top of his class. Wes was a National US Speed Skating Champion and played in the Sacramento Optimist All-Star Football Game. He went on to receive his Bachelor\'s Degree at the University of California, Davis in Rhetoric and Communication with a minor in Environmental Geology. At UC Davis, he played collegiate football and produced his own radio show for four years at KDVS 90.3fm while also directing the News Department for two years. If Wes is not on location or in the edit bay, you can find him working on the farm, hiking, skiing, getting outdoors or spending time with his family and friends.
