This is reflected in our higher-than-average occupancy rate across all our outdoor advertising sign offerings.Responsibilities: General Operations, Land Leasing and Management, Advertising SalesLease Maintenance, Renewal and Rental Reduction • Negotiate lease renewals• Negotiate favorable rental reductions• Involve legal department as needed in renewal or reduction efforts• Author amendments to lease contracts• Research and prospect lease files for renewal or reduction opportunities• Field calls from Lessees and solve issues in a timely fashion• Assist in the management of subcontractors conducting work for Saunders Government Affairs • Assist in state level lobbying to support our business endeavors• Work with communities to change ordinances to support our business endeavors• Work with communities and outreach groups to support Saunders public service goals• Field questions from local officials regarding our business• Be proficient in the permitting process for billboards at the state and local level• Understand and abide by the laws and ordinances that govern our industry Asset Development • Prospect locations or communities where new signs may be constructed• Assist communities in the development of supportive ordinances for our business endeavors• Establish state and local permits for the construction, repair or conversion of an asset• Prospect for new Lessors• Negotiate favorable new leases for asset construction or conversion
