I’m a Navy veteran and current Biblical Studies major at Gordon College, working toward a career in higher education as a professor of theology or biblical studies. My journey, from military service to academia, has shaped a disciplined, curious, and grounded approach to both learning and life.Before college, I built hands-on experience in a range of roles: bouncer, security worker, property manager, fitness sales rep, and restaurant supervisor. These jobs sharpened my leadership, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills in high-pressure, real-world environments. My military training as a Machinist Mate gave me a deep appreciation for structure, critical thinking, and problem-solving under stress—traits I now apply to rigorous academic study.What drives me now is a passion for deep theological inquiry and helping others wrestle with big questions of faith, scripture, and meaning. I’m especially interested in making biblical studies accessible, engaging, and relevant for diverse students navigating a complex world.
