As the Director of Operations, my responsibilities include overseeing the warehouse, maintenance, delivery, human resources, accounting, staffing, IT, and office management departments. I ensure that procedures are followed and effective communication is maintained between departments. I also maintain contact with third-party companies and individuals, advising on projects as needed. In the human resources and accounting department, I process payroll, implement HR policies, and guide staff decision-making on HR issues. I monitor budgeting for multiple departments and on-board and off-board employees. As part of my office management duties, I handle technology issues, answer phones, and manage the website.As the staffing director, I oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house staffing, manage on-site event staff, and recruit new staff, including hiring, orientation, and employment reviews. I also facilitate front-of-house managers\' meetings and trainings, cultivate a supportive and team-oriented workplace, and troubleshoot event staff cancellations and no-shows.As part of my role, I streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the highest level of customer service. I lead by example, promoting a culture of professionalism, respect, and collaboration.
